Aș a person who has the experience of living in more than one country, I can understand a person would feel alienated when he first arrives in an unfamiliar environment as a stranger. Through my observations, people will usually join or build a familiar neighborhood or bring their own cultures and structures of their societies into that environment,  just like a tent that can be moved everywhere and strive to maintain themselves while integrating into the environment.
