Whispers lost in the wind, installation, mix media, 2019
Many people don’t look at things, they glance at the road in front of them so they can walk but they don’t look at things. I laid down a white gessoed canvas in the middle of the road to emphasize the interaction of light and shadow in our daily lives. I expect passersby to realize the beautiful details in our daily lives are deserved to be appreciated as a painting in the museum. I made a frame and put the video on an iPad, the frame gives the light and shadow a feeling of solidity. The unexpected movement on the screen inspired me to appreciate the uncertainty of nature.
